- Iowa Medicaid Members: "Covered members have access to 24 hours a day, 7 days a week dental support through DentaQuest's teledentistry service. When a member contacts the service, an initial intake and triage process is completed to assess symptoms and determine the appropriate level of care. Members may receive general guidance, support, and assistance with identifying next steps, including whether urgent or in-person care is needed. The initial triage interaction is intended for care guidance and navigation only and does not constitute as a clinical service. When clinically appropriate, members may be connected to a licensed, credentialed dentist who can perform a limited oral evaluation using telehealth technology in a patient encounter.
